In clinical practice, a thickening solution is frequently coadministered with medicinal tablets to facilitate swallowing by older patients. This study investigated the effect of solutions on reduction in drug dissolution from orally disintegrating (ODTs) testing disintegrant-free ODT, Molded Tablet (MT), and various disintegrant-containing ODTs. After measurement tensile strength test ODTs, was performed ODTs treated or without solutions. Drug common reduced significantly treatment solutions, but more moderate for MT.
